"In this article, I show how you can build cascading menus, sometimes called "Spry" menus, in AutoPlay Media Studio. There is no limit for the number of (sub) menus you can build with this system, and no plugins or proprietary code is needed.

Example 1: Horizontal root menu with custom buttons The example will allow you to build dynamic menus that appear below the root menu, as you pass the mouse over the menu items. It is also possible to use the same buttons for the root and the child items, and arrange the root vertically. You can modify the script as needed.

The sample project (download link below) can be used for inspiration. 2In this example, I use four Edit fields, all masked. The first field is accepts only alphabetic characters, the second field only accepts numbers, and the latter two fields are alphanumeric. This of course can be changed, I just wanted to offer a sample with multiple input masks. 3Upon reaching the screen, the contents of the Windows clipboard is checked with help of the Clipboard plugin, which is part of Setup Factory. If a text matching the expected pattern of the serial number is found, the Edit fields receive the value automatically. 4If the Windows clipboard does not hold a text with a serial number in the expected format, the user can still go to the license file or email, and copy the text to the clipboard afterwards. Then he could click the "Paste" button to fill the fields with the data. 5If the clipboard does not contain text matching the pattern of the serial number, a message will be displayed if the Paste button is clicked."

"In this example for AutoPlay Media Studio, I show how you can receive and send email messages, without the use of plugins or external applications. Of course, you need to inform POP3 and SMTP servers in order to read and send messages. You can check your mailbox, compose new messages, reply to messages you received, and delete messages from the server. When composing a new message or replying, you can attach a file to your message. When receiving email messages with this demonstration application, I attempt to separate the text/plain and text/html versions of the message and show them in different objects. You can extend this sample so retrieval of attachments is possible as well."
